Does the Aarke Purifiers fit in a standard fridge/kitchen?

The standard fridge and kitchen counter spaces vary significantly in different markets. With the lid on, the Aarke Purifier is 10.8 in high and 6.7 in wide. With the lid on, the Aarke Purifier Large is 9.84 in high and 8.27 in wide. Please measure your fridge space to check if it will fit inside. Please note, that since it has a round base, the Aarke Purifier will not likely fit into the narrow fridge door storage space.

Should the Aarke Purifiers be kept in a refrigerator?

The Aarke Purifier does not have to be refrigerated, but should be stored in a cool place and be kept out of direct sunlight. The filtered water is intended for short-term use, no longer than 24 hours inside the Purifier.

Can I use the Aarke Purifiers with other Filter Refills than the Aarke filter refill granules?

No. The Aarke Purifiers is designed and engineered for filtrating water with the Aarke Filter Refill granules only.

How do I use the filter-change indicator in the lid?

The filter-change indicator is built as a calendar with the numbers representing every start of a month and the dots in between representing two weeks from the start of the last month. Depending on your preference, you can either use the filter-change indicator to show when you last refilled the Purifier with new granules or to show when to change the filter granules next time. To use the filter-change indicator in the lid of the Purifier, follow these steps: 1. Add fresh filter granules to the Purifier cartridge. 2. You then have two options: If you want the indicator to show when you last changed your granules, set the pointer to the closest calendar mark. For example, if you change the filter granules at the start of January, set the pointer to “1”, representing the start of January. If you want the indicator to show when you should change your granules next, set the pointer to 8 weeks from when you refill the Purifier add the new granules. For example, if you change the filter granules in the start of January, set the pointer to “3”, representing the start of March.

Clean and clear

I went for the large aarke as I knew I'll be using it more than I expected. And I was right. I use the filter more than I used previous filters. The clean lines and close to no plastic of the aarke add a pleasure element to just pouring a glass of water: A detail, but a nice feeling nevertheless.

I’ve had the Aarke Purifier for several months now, and compared with other water filter pitchers I’ve owned, the difference in quality is immediately noticeable.

The glass and stainless-steel construction feels incredibly solid and sturdy, especially compared with the plastic construction of most alternatives. Everything feels well engineered, from the handle and lid to the filtration system, and it has a reassuring weight without being awkward to use.

I also really like the refillable stainless-steel filter system rather than constantly replacing bulky plastic cartridges.

It’s certainly more expensive than many other options, but after several months of use, the build quality, design and overall feel have made it well worth the premium.

I have been using it for a few weeks, and I just love it. No plastic, just stainless steel and glass. Smart filter design. Water tastes good. No lime. Like I said, I just love it.

Water tastes great

Clean look, clean pour, and clean tasting water. After years of using another all plastic water filter, I am so happy with the Aarke filter. It is worth every penny.

My partner and I love it. The water where we live has a lot of chlorine and this really makes the water palatable. My partner would only drink carbonated water but now he really like the still water out of this filter. It is really easy to use. The only thing I have to say against it is that it was difficult to get the inner metal section out to clean but it is really good at staying put so it's a trade off.

I like the pitcher. The handle is easy to hold and it’s not too heavy. The lid is a little difficult to remove to refill but at least it doesn’t fall when pouring.

Main reason for this purchase was for the sustainable and zero waste features. Love the concept of this. The taste and quality of the water is great. The downsides are that it can be quite heavy due to the glass which is understandable. Secondly, the spout has a relatively small pour which gets uncomfortable due to the heaviness if you have to hold the pitcher while pouring lots of water out and if too much water flows out it will spill from the sides. Our commitment for zero/less waste outweighs the downsides so overall it's great.
