I went for the large aarke as I knew I'll be using it more than I expected. And I was right. I use the filter more than I used previous filters. The clean lines and close to no plastic of the aarke add a pleasure element to just pouring a glass of water: A detail, but a nice feeling nevertheless.

Main reason for this purchase was for the sustainable and zero waste features. Love the concept of this. The taste and quality of the water is great. The downsides are that it can be quite heavy due to the glass which is understandable. Secondly, the spout has a relatively small pour which gets uncomfortable due to the heaviness if you have to hold the pitcher while pouring lots of water out and if too much water flows out it will spill from the sides. Our commitment for zero/less waste outweighs the downsides so overall it's great.

Love it, everything that I expected. Everything can be cleaned easily in dishwasher!
There is a lot to love about the purifier, but it has one flaw which ordinarily would be one star off. But people in the family moan and whine such a lot about this flaw that I'm giving 2 stars off.
The flaw is that the water pours out extremely slowly. So it takes a long time to fill up e.g. a water bottle. Especially if you are late and wanting to run out the door.
Feels and tastes great. However glass color gives a greenish tint to the water from outside that doesn’t look very appetizing, would be nicer if it was totally clear. Also, the chrome finish attracts a lot of fingerprints. I would also prefer a non-plastic handle. All minor gripes, I’m still happy with the product
The granules are okay. It can be a little challenging to get them into the filter--I spilled a small amount while trying to pack them into the filter. I had been using the plastic filters for many years, so I am used to water with not taste/flavor. The granules definitely make my water taste different from the plastic filter. It's not a bad taste, but there is a taste. I am allowing myself an adjustment period, and this is still fairly new. So far, so good.
