In the beginning I loved this thing! After a few years and the locking mechanism stopped working. Without the lock working you can't use it. It's way too expensive to stop working after a few years.

I purchased the Carbonater Pro June ‘26 on the Amazon Prime days and saved about $50. Even still, that was a lot of money (for me). But > Ive been using a SodaStream for SO many years, but didn’t like all of the plastic including the bottles … now that I know better about plastic.
I splurged and bought the Aarke with glass bottles. I want to say, the carbonation is SO SO SO much better. I absolutely love the water. Way upgrade over the SodaStream. I told my daughter about how much better, like the bubbles are ’finer’. I didn’t really know how to describe it.
She’s a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and said that better champagne is judged by the smaller bubbles. Okay then mid August comes along and the ‘release’ knob fell off. It’s threaded, but like it’s not quite long enough and I could -not- get it to screw back in. I contacted Aarke via email. The responded I think the next day asking me for specific information about my purchase. I provided that and WHOA!!! they again responded right away and said that they would send me another one. About 2 or so weeks later, the new one arrived. I was shocked really at how smoothly the whole replacement process went. And we were back in business with the best carbonated water. I make it for my special needs sister and she truly loves it too. We are now able to cut way back on buying Waterloo flavored sparkling water cans. Also, the glass bottles are a really nice heavyweight glass that you don’t have to be worried about breaking from being too thin, delicate.

Love, love, love this machine! We started using a carbonated water machine years ago and enjoyed having the carbonated water whenever we wanted. However, the machine we had was plastic and cheap feeling. It eventually broke. After conducting lots of research and reading reviews, we chose the Aarke Carbonator Pro Steel, and it’s a game changer. We absolutely love this machine. It is sturdy and solid and has a very high quality look and feel. It operates easily and smoothly without any issues. We also love the beautiful glass bottles we use to carbonate the water. This machine is worth every penny and then some. Do not settle for the plastic machines. We are very happy customers!

I absolutely love this machine.

We can't say enough about this little piece of equipment. Not only is it pretty to look at, it does exactly what we needed and it's so freeing not to have a million bottles of Saratoga to deal with (sorry Saratoga, you made your monies worth from us). I only wished we bought one sooner.

We love it! We own an ice cream shop and wanted to add phosphates and old fashioned home made sodas but wanted to test it before we invested in a big fountain system! It is perfect we may not even need the big system customers are mesmerized by it!

This device has exceeded our expectations. It is extremely well made. It does an excellent job of making carbonated water. And the CO2 cartridges last longer than we expected. We are completely thrilled with the unit and don't think we could live without it.

I have one at home. My job relocated temporarily and the company set up an apt for me in the mean time. First order was the Carbonator Pro! Don't leave home without it!! Life is good!!

Great quality and very stylish. We bought this unit for our RV and it works well on the road. The system came with one bottle and we added two more. Soda stream is cheaper but the quality in my opinion is not great and it’s not very stylish.

BEST soda water maker ever created!

We use our carbonator every day, it’s smooth and no plastic, no plugs. The glass bottles fit easily in our refrigerator, and are nice enough to include on a guest table.

We like it, but we still haven’t figured out the timing for getting the bubbles just right, we either overdo it and it goes everywhere or it’s totally flat… We’ve watched videos but still can’t seem to figure it out!

I decided to purchase this over continuing to buy expensive carbonated waters and knew if it worked, I would save a lot of money. I have been using the product for 2 months and love it. I keep 2 bottle ready in the fridge at all times (get two glass bottles if you decide to purchase). It is very easy to use and the stainless steel is not obstructing and actually looks great in our kitchen. My current cartridge is still working after 2 months of daily use and I did sign up for the exchange program they have. I am quite pleased with this device and it will have paid for itself in less than 3 months.

Beautiful & beautifully functional

The biggest selling feature of the Pro, for me, is the glass bottles. The carbonator itself is nicely made.
There's always a little water in the base after carbonation which can easily be wiped up but an extra step.
The instructions are not clear on how to adapt your preferred level of carbonation - press button until it buzzes, release pressure and repeat. Twice is our preferred level.
The glass bottles hold the carbonation well.
We've had it approx a month or so and so far - no regrets.

I think this has been and will be my best purchase of 2026! Who would have thought that sparkling water could bring so much joy to my day! I have never owned a soda stream so can't really compare how the bubbles are versus other options, but what I can say is this is a beautiful contraption and my tummy appreciates the bubbles and I am definitely drinking more water now. After placing this order, I placed another order for the to go containers because drinking flat water just doesn't do it for me anymore. 😂😂
